Worcester Bosch is a UK-based manufacturer specialising in heating and hot water products. It has been around since 1962. The company has a Royal Warrant for supplying boilers to HM The Queen’s estate at Sandringham. Worcester has also received Best Buy awards from the consumer guide Which?

At TDL Online we offer a wide range of Worcester combi boilers. So there’s a Worcester combi boiler to suit most smaller properties. Worcester appliances have sleek modern designs and some of them come in various choices of finish that won’t look out of place in your home. This is particularly important if space is at a premium and your boiler will be on display, or if you just prefer design-led appliances. And, as an alternative, because combi boilers are small, you can conceal them easily.

All Worcester combi boilers comply with ErP, the Energy-related Products regulations.

What is a combi boiler?

Worcester combi boilers  produce hot water and heating on demand. They are also known as combination boilers. This type of boiler heats water as it comes in from the mains. Think of them as a central heating boiler and an efficient water heater combined in one unit.

One big advantage of combi boilers is that they take up less space than other types of boiler. Combi boiler units have a compact size and there are options in the Worcester range for properties with up to three bathrooms. With a combi boiler you don’t need a hot water cylinder or a water tank in the loft. So a heating and hot water system running off a combi boiler takes up less space in your home. This is because combi boilers heat water as you call for it by turning on a tap or a shower. So there is no need to store hot water in a cylinder. Because the water comes straight from the mains you don’t need to re-pressurise your water supply by drawing it from a tank in the loft, either. So you’re saving even more space.

Combi boilers are cheaper to run because you only heat the water that you need.

You also get hot water quickly when you want it: no need to wait for the whole tank to heat up. And you never run out of hot water, either.

Should I get a combi boiler?

Worcester combi boilers are best suited to properties with no more than three bathrooms or shower rooms. You do need to have fairly good mains water pressure – but TDL Online can advise on various options to improve water pressure, so give our experts a call to learn more.

Do Worcester combi boilers have a guarantee?

Worcester Bosch as a company is committed to high standards of quality. Under UK law, boilers are guaranteed for two years – but Worcester Bosch guarantee your appliance for five years, and you can increase the length of guarantee by using one of the company’s accredited installers. Learn more from the Worcester-Bosch guarantee page.
