Vaillant are one of the market leaders in domestic boilers and as such have released a whole host of boilers that are designed for homes of different shapes and sizes.

Our Vaillant combi boiler review looks at the boilers based on their suitability for various property sizes, however we would still recommend getting in touch with a qualified Gas Safe heating engineer as they will be able to suitably specify the boiler you require.

As a general rule, it’s worth noting that the higher your hot water usage the greater flow rate you’ll require and the larger your property in terms of rooms, the more powerful your central heating output will be.       

Smaller Properties

If you have a small flat or apartment with 1-2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom you could be looking at the following Vaillant Combi EcoTec boiler models. These boilers have a lower output that is designed for properties with only a few radiators and a single bathroom.

Medium-Sized Properties

If you have a medium sized property with 2-3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom (maybe an en-suite), then you could consider looking at the following EcoTec Combi Boilers. These boilers will typically suit most standard UK homes, with plenty of power for an invigorating shower and adequate heating.

Larger Properties

Properties on the larger end of the scale can often move away from combi boilers, being too large to allow the boiler to properly service it with a respectable level of performance. However, Vaillant do have options for large properties that may suit.

If you have a property with 3+ bedrooms and at least 2 bathrooms then it is worth looking at the following high end Combi Boilers from Vaillant’s EcoTec Series.

The EcoTec 937 has a small hot water cylinder* built into it, which gives you instant and reliable access to hot water. This setup makes it ideal for large properties with a constant hot water demand.
